Third Millennium RX2 Reader

The RX2 advanced access control reader from Third Millennium is an elegant and slimline unit designed particularly for upgrading from magnetic stripe card readers. with a footprint similar to most popular magnetic stripe readers on the market it will have little or no cosmetic impact to the wall finish once installed to replace a magstripe reader.

The RX2 reader offers a choice of technologies, and a range of security levels from 125kHz through MIFARE® Sector and LEGIC® encryption multiple technology access control – all the way up to a high-end security level option using the RX290B reader model.

The RX290B boasts multiple technologies embedded in its hardware and firmware, providing a 13.56MHz MIFARE® DESFire® platform, having state-of-the-art security and privacy. The reader employs LEGIC® 13.56MHz contactless smart technology, with its tightly integrated LEGIC RF Standard. In addition, the reader can also be used for 125kHz access control systems.
