Javelin 61201501 – YMCK Full Colour Ribbon with Resin Black (500 Prints)

The Javelin 61201501 YMCK Full Colour Ribbon with Resin Black (500 Prints) is designed for use with the Javelin J1000i printer. This ribbon can produce up to 500 single-sided cards or 250 dual-sided cards, utilising Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, and Black panels.

The Javelin 61201501 colour ribbon must be used with the Javelin Re-Transfer Film as the J1000i retransfer card printer employs a two-step process: first, it prints a high-resolution 600dpi reverse image onto a clear transfer overlay, then it uses heat and pressure to transfer the image and overlay onto an ID card.

Retransfer printing offers superior print quality, allowing printing on uneven card surfaces such as smart cards, and on non-PVC cards. This method produces more durable and abrasion-resistant cards compared to traditional thermal print ID cards.
